Responsibilities:
A day in the life:
- Serve as resource for design staff as it pertains to drafting practices and procedures.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related surveying software packages to complete assignments on time and within Atwell standards.
- Produce various drawing specific to projects including ALTA, Final Plats, Maps of Dedication, construction layout and construction staking.
- Review project survey data to analyze existing site conditions and factors to consider for development including but not limited to legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, easement documents and condo documents.
- Complete edits and modify plans as revised by agencies, municipalities and clients as directed.
- Communicate with Project Managers, field crews, and Team Leaders on workflow status in order to meet chargeability goals.
Qualifications:
Do you have…
- 4+ years Land Survey Civil 3D experience - Required
- 3+ years TBC (Trimble Business Center) - Preferred
- 3+ years field experience - Preferred
- Have a understanding of Land Survey procedures and workflows
- Understand and read field notes
- Understand and input Deeds, Plats, construction plans (Site plans, Foundation Plans, Architecture Plans)
- Experience researching: Deeds, CCR’s, Benchmarks, R/W Maps, Government Notes
- Working knowledge of Civil 3D
- Points
- Surfaces (Contours, creating and editing)
- Styles (Points, Lines, Labels, Symbols, Surfaces, Parcels)
- Parcel Reports (COGO reports)
- Description Keys (How to use and setup)
- Traverse input and adjustment
