Dibble is looking for a skillful and highly motivated Survey Technicianto join our Survey group in Phoenix, AZ. This is an opportunity for you to join our fine group of respected professionals.
SUMMARY:
This role of Survey Technician will be responsible for performing fieldwork tasks related to boundaries, construction, mapping requirements of survey projects. This role will also assist with uploading/downloading data and maintaining related records.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of land surveys of all types.
- Work individually or as a team to perform accurate and complete field surveys using all types of survey equipment.
- Ensure proper maintenance of all survey/company equipment, including fleet vehicle.
- Ability to meet multiple project deadlines.
- Assisting Registered Professional Land Surveyors with boundary analysis, easement preparations, legal descriptions, and computing survey points.
- Communicate effectively with both the customer and survey team.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to maintain a strong focus on client satisfaction and client service.
- Land survey knowledge with demonstrated ability in all survey methods including robotic and GPS.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office programs and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to identify and address quality control issues.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- A strong commitment to the Values and Mission of the Company.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years land surveying experience.
- Technical drafting degree preferred but not required.
- Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Requires some experience in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Other Requirements:
- Must have a valid Arizona driver's license or be able to obtain a valid Arizona driver's license within 3 months of start date.
Working Conditions for this role:
- May be required to lift or carry up to 25lbs. Some nights and weekend work may be required.
- This role requires ability to work extended periods of time outdoors in all weather conditions, including temperatures in excess of 100 degrees.
