Surveillance Officer is responsible for maintaining surveillance of the gaming tables, cashiers, and slot machine activities. Procedures of the "Soft Count" as well as the other areas of the Casino. This includes, but is not limited to, inputs and outputs.
ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this position, the incumbent must perform each of the essential tasks satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation can be provided so that people with disabilities can perform the functions.
- Monitor gaming tables and slots activity.
- Monitor the area of the "Cage" (including the cashiers (os) and the vault).
- Monitor Casino procedures such as deposits, table game counts and slot counts.
- Observe the security of casino operations to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and company policies.
- Ensure the safety of clients and hotel staff.
- Report any irregularity or suspicious activity to the Surveillance supervisor or manager.
- Maintain record of radios, keys and equipment assigned to casino personnel.
- Prepare incident reports, reports of violation of casino employee procedures and reports of special observations required.
- Perform their tasks as assigned and required.
- Maintain the confidentiality of the information provided.
- Notify appropriate personnel in case of emergencies.
- Notify the supervisor/manager of defective or malfunctioning equipment.
- Conduct time and motion studies.
