Surgical Scrub Technician

Job Title: Surgical Scrub Technician.

Job Type: Contract

Shift: 10 hours/Day, 8 hours/day, (both shifts available)

Note: We have multiple positions for Surgical Scrub Technician in Rochester, New York and in other locations in NY.

Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension

Guaranteed hours: 40 hrs/week

Salary: $2000- $2200 weekly

Experience:

Surgical Scrub Technician 1+ years
OR Tech proficient in most specialities

Surgical Scrub Technician Job Duties

• Set up the operating room with all necessary surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies required for specific procedures. Ensure that the operating room is sterile and ready for surgery according to established protocols and guidelines.
• Sterilize surgical instruments and equipment using autoclaves, chemical disinfectants, or other sterilization methods.
• Verify that instruments are sterile and functional before use and maintain proper documentation of sterilization processes.
• Assisting Surgeons: Pass instruments, sutures, and other supplies to surgeons during surgical procedures, anticipating their needs and maintaining a sterile field at all times. Assist with retraction, suctioning, and other tasks as directed by the surgeon to facilitate the surgical process.

Certificate & Licensure:

• CST Cert
• BLS
• Covid & Flu Vaccination

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,200.00 per week
