We started with nails, and have developed and deployed the world’s first and only AI-powered, autonomous manicure robots.Our robots are currently active in select channels, including airports, universities, and corporate offices as a back-to-work amenity. We're slated to increase our number of locations 10x in 2024 across the United States!
ROLE
This role offers a rare opportunity to work with AI-powered robots that are already available to the public, and improving everyday lives.We are looking for a Customer Support Specialist to assist our partners and customers with anything they may encounter while using our product. You will help the end customer if they are having trouble using the robot to paint their nails, and also provide support to partners across various locations.The ideal candidate quickly becomes proficient in using our robot and related tooling to remotely troubleshoot live situations with customers. This includes resolving technical issues in real time, and guiding customers to overcome user challenges. To be successful in this role, you should be an excellent communicator who’s able to understand how our technology works, and how to translate those learnings to educate our customers in using our products.
This is a part-time role, ideally based in our San Francisco office. The hourly rate is $21-25 per hour and the role requires 20-30 hrs/wk. We have a range of shifts available, 7 days a week between the hours of 5am-7pm PST. There are opportunities for overtime and flexible shifts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand how the robot works at a practical level
- Understand typical issues, what causes them and how to remediate
- Respond to customer and partner queries in a timely and accurate way
- Identify customer needs and help them use specific features
- Analyze and report product malfunctions (for example, by testing different scenarios or impersonating users)
- Monitor customer complaints on social media and reach out to provide assistance
- Follow up with customers to ensure their technical issues are resolved
- Gather customer feedback and share with our Product, Sales and Marketing teams
- Ad hoc operational tasks to support smooth operations at each of our locations (for example, inventory management, Office admin support, in-person support)
We will provide full and cohesive training in the appropriate areas above.ABOUT YOU
- Experience as a Product or Customer Support Specialist or similar role for a technical product
- Experience using help desk software (Zendesk preferred) and remote support tools
- Multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Can adjust your communication style based on the person you’re communicating with
- Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot on the spot
