This position is designated as hybrid. Employee will be working some days in the office at the Mercedes-Benz Training Facility or the housing complex.
- Manages the site housing program by coordinating student flow projections; housing accounting; creating and sending collection letters; acting as liaison between the school and apartment managers for utilities, furniture, cleanings, keys, rents, and fees; and scheduling/performing monthly and graduating housing inspections
- Ensures students successfully start school by contacting rostered students to reassure their concerns with housing, travel, financial requirements, and relocation loans; documenting all student communications, change of status, and issues into the electronic student tracking system; and referring any possible barriers to show to the appropriate Advanced Training Manager (ATM)
- Support Education Supervisors by preparing and/or distributing student rosters, student resumes, and programs, booklets, and certificates for graduation
- Supports recruiting and placement by participating in the student registration/orientation process to include the collection and processing of all documents; and assisting with career fairs, interview skills workshops, and placement briefings.
- Ensure accurate collection of all orientation and graduation paperwork, including all of the verification of employment process
- Manage and track student completion of all manufacturer pre-qualifications accurately and efficiently to ensure optimal program densities and process compliance.
- Coach students through personal and financial challenges to improve student outcomes
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or completion of GED required
- 3 years office experience preferred
- 2 years customer service experience preferred
- Able to work independently, prioritize and multi-task
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to be detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated, strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of basic computing and Microsoft Office applications.
- Use good judgment, problem-solving and decision making skills
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 5 pounds 25% or less of the workday
- Must be able stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 15% or less of the workday
- Must be able to talk, see, hear, concentrate, think, and reason
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
- Must be able to use a keyboard and do manual tasks for prolonged periods throughout the workday.
- Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment.

- Salary range $22/hr - $24/hr depending on experience
