These job requirements allow the employee to work their entire schedule somewhere other than a Lockheed Martin designated office or job site.RMS Global Sustainment is seeking an experienced leader to oversee F-35 Support Equipment (SE) Sustainment operations across the Enterprise. This position requires an in-depth knowledge of what it takes to sustain SE in support of our customers and the ability to work across functions to ensure that sustainment is achieved, while leading a geographically dispersed team.
The F-35 Enterprise SE Sustainment Manager is responsible for executing all staffing actions to include the hiring, training, and placement of personnel to locations worldwide. Once in place, this leader will work through subordinate leaders to provide administrative and technical support, conduct pay and performance discussions, and encourage excellence through recognition programs. The selected individual will work closely with Program Management teams from the Joint Program Office, LM Aero, and LM RMS to prepare for the stand-up of new sites, modifications to existing, and the continued sustainment of all others. Efforts will require support of proposal activities in order to identify scope, generate basis of estimates (BOEs), deliver on contract requirements, and maintain and operate within budget. Travel will be required to interact with the team and support the customer.
Basic Qualifications:
- Selfless leader, focused on fostering a professional environment and delivering excellence
- Project management experience with an emphasis on sustainment
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or STEM related discipline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Technical experience working with Specialty Engineering teams (Reliability, Maintainability, System Safety) and use of sustainment tools, data analytics and sustainment metrics
- Final SECRET security clearance
- Able and willing to travel up to 20% of the year
Desired Skills:
- Previous assignment in F-35 ground Support Equipment Sustainment
- Graduate degree in business, management, or STEM related discipline
- Previous experience working proposals, generating estimates, and resource planning
- Experience working with USG and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers
- Familiarity with program policies and procedures associated with F-35 SE sustainment.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $135,800 - $256,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $118,100 - $226,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented FULL TIME employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
