The Logistics & Sustainment Support Equipment IPT Leader will serve as the focal point on all engine Support Equipment and specialized tooling projects within Edison Works advanced military programs. In this role, you will work with a cross-functional team managing complex schedules and contract deliverables while working directly with our DoD customers to ensure unique military product support requirements are met

Roles and Responsibilities

• Leads Support Equipment/Specialized tooling customer qualification efforts
• Develops and manages complex Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
• Assists with Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) and forecasting requirements
• Prepares monthly program status reports to summarize work scope accomplished, financial expenditures and schedule critical paths
• Manages contractual deliverables including tracking, reviewing, packaging and reporting status to internal and external customers
• Organizes and leads both internal and external reoccurring meetings which provide management and leadership updates on Support Equipment status
• Collaborates cross functionally within Logistics & Sustainment and Edison Works Engineering disciplines such as Support Equipment engineering, maintainability, reliability, supportability and safety engineering
• Supports leadership to identify and work through programmatic issues pertaining to security, resources, information technology, and facilities
• Provides recommendations to the Logistics & Sustainment Program Manager on related scope and deliverables
• Experience performing project or program management functions
• Ability to work full time on-site at GE Aerospace headquarters in Cincinnati
• Strong understanding of U.S. military maintenance operations and sustainment activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or high school diploma/GED with 10 years’ project or program management functions experience) + 5 years of project or program management functions
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance: DoD Collateral (w/ Secret eligibility)
• Must be a US Citizen

Desired Characteristics

• Experience with military jet engines (F110, F118, F414, etc.)
• Experience with Product Support Analysis (PSA), Logistics Product Data (LPD) management, Maintenance Planning development and Life Cycle Sustainment Planning
• Knowledge and/or experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Knowledge and/or experience using Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS) software tools such as Microsoft Project and Deltek Open Plan
• Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers
• Active U.S. Government Secret or Top-Secret Clearance
