Training and Logistics Solutions (TLS) Integrated Engineering is looking for an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Manager with responsibility for a diverse, multi-disciplinary team that develops innovative training and logistics solutions across Air and Commercial Solutions (ACS) Mobility & Distributed Training Solutions (M&DTS). The selected candidate will have overall responsibility and accountability for program performance of the IPT within Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Air Command Training and Support (ACTS) program. The selected candidate will manage the IPT and lead it in performing its responsibilities to the M&DTS portfolio.
The selected candidate's responsibilities will include:
• Enabling the performance of talented, multi-discipline engineering teams comprised of team members with expertise in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering & Integration & Test by setting and clearly communicating organizational vision, expectations and objectives to develop innovative training and logistics solutions across multiple programs in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage Engineering & Technology responsibilities for contract modifications with associated technical, cost and schedule performance. Partner with Engineering Program Manager (EPM), Government Counterparts and cross functional teams in Program Management, Operations, Sourcing and Global Sustainment support to execute the life cycle of the program from proposal phase to modifications and sustainment.
• Ensure the integrity of engineering activity by employing both quantitative and qualitative management approaches and compliance with Command Media. Collect and use data to make data-driven decisions.
• Manage performance of engineering team(s). Engage to facilitate corrective action, as required.
• Actively monitor staffing demand and take action to ensure sufficient supply.
• Promote the continual identification and active management of teams' risks and opportunities.
• Champion continuous improvement activities. Identify opportunities to employ tools and practices that increase team efficiency and quality.
• Champion the automation of manual processes in the spirit of Digital Transformation. Develop and communicate automation strategies that facilitate adoption at all levels within the organization.
• Ensure the quality and compliance of cost estimates generated from within the organization.
• Organize and facilitate the personal and career development of team members. Ensure team members are prepared with the training and skills to be successful within their teams. Create and execute organizational training plans. Provide ongoing feedback to team members and deliver annual performance reviews.
• Partner with Human Resources to promote a "people first" culture and to resolve all personnel-related matters in a timely fashion.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering/technical discipline or related discipline with 10 or more years of professional experience
- Must possess, or have ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Experience coaching, mentoring and developing the critical skills of others
- Experience applying the Vee Process Model to fully develop and integrate a complex system
- Demonstrated ability and desire to automate manual, time-consuming tasks
- Experience in the requirements, design, implementation, and test & acceptance phases of project life cycles
- Control Account Management (CAM) experience within past 5 years
Desired skills
- Advanced degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Management
- Understanding of DevSecOps Practices inclusive of Agile Product Development leveraging Scrum & Kanban
- Thorough understanding of program, functional, and process metrics including Earned Value Management (EVM) and Staffing plans
- Experience in Systems Engineering, Complex Systems Integration & Test, and Model-Based Engineering (MBE) processes, principles and tools and authoring proposals
- Experience working collaboratively with Program Management, Finance and Contracts organizations on both domestic and international firm fixed price contracts
- Experience leading cross-functional, geographically dispersed / virtual teams through change
- Experience with trainer system modifications, AFSOC mission or experience with C-130J and CV-22 platforms or simulation devices is a plus

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $118,100 - $226,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $135,800 - $256,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
