Support Engineer, Test Equipment - Video Technologies
Unigraf, a leading manufacturer of Test Equipment for DisplayPort, HDMI, and other Video Technologies, is seeking a Senior Engineer with experience in protocol test, analysis, and qualification tools and a proven ability to work closely with customers and internal developers / product managers to understand and solve complex technical issues. Experience with technology standards organizations is desired.
In this role, you will interact with our customer base, which range from the world’s largest technology companies to small start-ups, across a variety of markets and product categories, including silicon developers, makers of consumer electronics, IP providers, test labs, government agencies, automotive companies, and more.
Unigraf is a video electronics testing company specializing in hardware and software test tools for DisplayPort, USB-C/USB4, and HDMI. Unigraf’s technological strengths are based on a deep understanding of these wired video interfaces. Our solutions are used in compliance, R&D, and production testing.
Your Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and review of industry specifications developed by VESA, USB-IF, or HDMI Forum by representing the company in those organizations.
- Assist our development teams with the development of new products and features.
- Train customers in the use of our products.
- Assist customers in solving technical issues.
- Occasional travel to support test events, trade shows, and customers.
Your Qualifications:
- BS or MS degree in electrical engineering or similar discipline.
- In-depth technical knowledge of DisplayPort, HDMI, USB-C/USB4, or similar protocols.
- Demonstrable experience in design, debug, validation, or qualification testing solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to efficiently manage technical meetings with customers.
- US citizen or permanent resident.
Location:
Remote Western US or on-site in our Gilbert, AZ office.
