Position Description
Responsible for the performance of all supply functions in accordance with contract Performance Work Statement, applicable publications, regulations, all applicable federal, state, local Air Force base directives, and Tunista Valiant JV-approved process instructions. These duties include, but are not limited to, researching, validating, and submitting parts and materials requisitions, processing unserviceable items for disposition turn-in (TIN) or reuse, maintaining and validating supply point assets, maintaining bench stock account, and performing reconciliation for Refurbishment and Corrosion Control Section equipment. The Supply Technician will also serve as the single POC for materials requisition and accountability for all Minuteman Launch Support Services (LSS) contract functions. This includes, but is not limited to, obtaining price quotes, preparing/submitting GPC requests and reimbursable CLIN purchase requests and maintains all associated databases. Reports to the Launch Support Services (LSS) Site Manager.
- Review WRF for shop-performed minor maintenance/inspections; schedule work through Production Supervisor.
- Perform inspections and shopper formed minor maintenance; debrief work orders; identify and correct equipment discrepancies; ensure delayed discrepancies are documented in IMDS.
- Prepare/submit documentation and coordinate TIN of Government equipment/assets to appropriate work center.
- Maintain bench stock and supply point accounts; process required documentation; conduct supply point inventories; initiate deficiency reports for faulty equipment/supplies.
- Perform CA/CRL Monitor duties for Refurbishment, Corrosion and Equipment Sections.
- Ensure maximum availability/accountability of serviceable equipment; ensure accuracy of Integrated Maintenance Database System (IMDS); process equipment through Maintenance Processing Function; process TMDE through the PMEL contractor.
- Requisition and manage contract Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) inventory and database updates; process unserviceable or excess GFP/CAP for disposition/TIN.
- Perform periodic self-inspections on all section functions; submit required reports to applicable POCs.
- Perform Facility Manager, Personal Wireless Communication Systems Monitor and Records Management duties for all section requirements.
- Complete other duties at the discretion of the LSS Site Manager to assist Refurbishment efforts at Launch Facilities (LF.)
- Examples: Crane operations signal & safety spotter duties, general maintenance duties, and other misc. tasks assigned by the LSS Site Manager
Pay Rate:
The rate for this position is $36.81/hr. However, Valiant considers several factors, including but not limited to, market data, business considerations, internal equity, the role and responsibilities of the position, a candidate’s work experience, education, and training, when extending an offer.

Position Requirements
• Must be able to obtain and maintain favorable National Agency Check.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in material management. Specific experience in utilizing USAF Supply Systems is highly desirable.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, USAF Standard Base Supply System (SBSS), FedLog, IMDS, and other computer databases is highly desirable.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CA Class “C” driver’s license.
• Must maintain excellent physical condition including the ability to lift 50lbs unassisted.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess exceptional organization, communication, and interpersonal management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and monitor program activities.
