Dme Technician

Overview:
Power Wheels Medical Supply is a well established home medical equipment and supply company. We are seeking a skilled and motivated DME Field Technician to join our team of experienced technicians. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for deliveries, as well as providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients. This is a hands-on role that requires strong physical and problem-solving skills while working directly with customers, we encourage you to apply..

Duties:

- Install, maintain, and repair various equipment and systems in the field (hospital beds, wheelchairs, hoyer lifts, lift chairs, etc)
- Perform routine inspections, equipment repair and maintenance (preventative) tasks according to established procedures-Assembling products
- Calibrate and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Collaborate with other team members to identify solutions for complex problems and communicate effectively with clients
- Track work orders, document repairs and Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines

Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting directions and technical manuals
- Experience with equipment repair and calibration
- Familiarity with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines and procedures
- Experience with DME (Durable Medical Equipment) is preferred but required
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in field service is preferred
- Basic computer hardware knowledge

- Knowledge of CMS guidelines and procedures
