Supply Specialist And Material Handler

Canon is currently looking to hire an experienced Supply Specialistfor a hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Qualified candidates must have 1+ years of experience in Materials Distribution, Inventory, or Logistics.

COVID-19 Requirements: Must be fully vaccinated

Shift: Wednesday to Sunday 8am-6:30PM

Shift: Sunday to Wednesday 8am-6:30pm

Shift: Monday to Friday 8am-4:30pm

Responsibilities

• Replenishment of assigned PAR inventory locations
• Replenishment of assigned bedside carts, tank rooms & equipment rooms
• Contact Customer Service to request priority services (products, equipment, code carts, etc.)
• Contact Customer Service to report issues
• Attend meetings with customers to assess their needs
• Maintain assigned PAR areas and assigned bedside carts in a clean and organized manner
• Assist Level II Supply Specialist with work, as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• One year in hospital materials distribution, inventory management or logistics
• Must be a “critical thinker” with an ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment
• Strong product knowledge a must
• Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communications skills are required for success in this function
• Demonstrated good ability to prioritize work, strong organizational skills and initiative to improve processes
• Consistently display a friendly, positive, and professional demeanor

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to lift 40 lbs
• Repetitive motion
• Reaching, pushing, pulling carts weighing up to 250lbs
• Walking, standing for extended periods of time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
