You will serve as a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the CONTRACTS AND MATERIAL DEPARTMENT of FLT NUMER OCEANGPHY METEO CTR.Qualifications: To qualify for the SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-2003-11, your resume must demonstrate at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience procuring supplies and services with the government-wide commercial purchase card (GCPC);
- Experience reconciling monthly GCPC statements and reallocate transactions to alternate lines of accounting;
- Experience identifying mandatory sources and other available sources of supplies and services with no supervision;
- Experience evaluating vendor quotes and proposals with minimal supervision and ensuring FNMOC is getting the best value for procurements;
- Experience preparing procurement documentation with minimal supervision, to include drafting requirement statements and sole source/brand name justifications, and formulating independent government cost estimates;
- Experience briefing managers on supply and service issues, recommending solutions and executing resolutions.
- Experience procuring supplies and services with the government-wide commercial purchase card (GCPC).
- Experience identifying mandatory sources and other available sources of supplies and services with no supervision;
- Experience evaluating vendor quotes and proposals with supervision;
- Experience preparing procurement documentation with oversight and guidance, to include drafting requirement statements and sole source/brand name justifications, and formulating independent government cost estimates.
