Job Description:
Logistics Analyst Senior
Performs clerical and manual tasks to maintain an inventory of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
Professional experience in Navy Integrated Logistics Support and System Life Cycle Support areas of the DoD/Navy Integrated Logistics Support System.
Experience should include each of the following Navy ILS Components in support of a major shipboard system; Maintenance Planning, Manpower, Personnel & Training, Supply Support, Test Equipment Support, Technical Logistical Data, Packaging, Handling, Storage & Transportation, Design & Installation.
Assist with the procurement, receipt, storage, issuing, shipment, property control, inventory, and recordkeeping for a wide variety of assets to include, but not limited to, the following: property, equipment, services, forms, parts and supplies.
Performs supply chain and logistics functions such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and warehouse distribution.
Monitor and maintain proper inventory levels throughout the production cycle of the organization's product, including pulling or replenishing inventory to satisfy organization needs.
Ensure shipment and delivery time schedules are maintained.
Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies.
Support the planning and implementation of supply chain optimization projects under limited supervision.
Identify, investigate, resolve, and follow-up on supply, logistics and warehouse problems that may occur
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: AA/AS or equivalent, 4+ years of experience, Secret clearance required with ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance.
