Do you have an analytical mind and an interest in National Security and Cyber Security? Idaho National Laboratory (INL) is hiring a Junior Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Analyst. Reporting to the Senior SCRM Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the resilience and security of our Supply Chain operations, using a ground-breaking methodology that includes open-source research, data visualization, and critical thinking/reasoning. Our ideal candidate will be a strong writer, with the ability to assist our analytical team in identifying and articulating risks to our greater lab community.
This is a flexible position that can work a 980 schedule (off every other Friday!) from CONUS locations. Remote or Hybrid work opportunities may be available for this position.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Assist with open-source research and risk analysis of the INL global Supply Chain
- Detailed review of open-source data and corporate intelligence
- Communicate, both verbally and in writing, with a variety of customers
- Write detailed and concise analytical documents
- Work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Cyber literacy (familiarity with basic cybersecurity concepts)
- Draw from proprietary data sources and publicly available information to update existing risk assessments useful within the INL mission context
- Stay current on relevant federal regulations supporting the integrity of software and network systems used by the US government and its contractors
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of risk assessments and mitigation measures
- Distill complex, interconnected pieces of information into clear and concise summaries
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive organizational system for extensive data sets, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility
*Minimum Requirements: *
- Bachelor's degree OR Master's degree in International Relations, National Security Studies, Economics, Data Analytics, or related fields
- Knowledge or experience in Government relations and/or Risk Management (intelligence analysis, reporting, Supply Chain Risk analysis, etc.) is ideal
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "Q" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.

- Salary Grade: PR0100 - 200 ($83,412 - $137,592)
