Job Description
Works in the Production Planning and Control organization as a Scheduler, Make, Buy, or Bill of Materials (BOM) Planner.
Individuals could be assigned to Program or Manufacturing Operations.
Program Planning:
The individual will be responsible for the oversight of one or more of the various elements of program planning for the Fire Control or Tact program(s) including the release of purchase orders to Supply Chain Management for materials needed for the program. This position could include monitoring engineering changes and creation/updates to bills of material. Monitoring production schedules from various manufacturing centers here in Orlando as well as Ocala.
Work outside of the normal operating hours may be required.
Manufacturing Planning:
The individual will fill the requirement for a Factory Operations Manufacturing or Make Planner in one of four Production Operations Centers. Responsibilities will include scheduling and integrity of the MRP system for all assigned assemblies. Status and reporting of manufacturing build. Effective management of kit issues and fulfillment of hardware needs to support manufacturing build. Effective factory implementation and cut-in of engineering and process changes. Prioritization of workflow in partnership with manufacturing supervision and industrial engineering team members.

Seeking recent or Fall 2023 graduate with availability to start in January 2024.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience/combined education.
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance
Desired skills
Degree from an accredited college in the field such as Supply Chain management, operations management, or have business SAP ERP experience
Past experience with Buy Planning, Manufacturing and/or Make Planning experience
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce or business.
Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing
Basic knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)
Inventory Control and material handling knowledge, including familiarity with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas
Interest in and ability to obtain Green belt certification
Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists
ASCM Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification
Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs including Microsoft Office
Very good organization skills
Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $45,200 - $86,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $52,000 - $98,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
