Job Position: Supply Chain Master Data Specialist
Job Location: Atlanta, GA (In-Person)
Reports To: Director, Supply Chain
Job Summary: The Supply Chain Master Data Specialist is responsible for WinCup's Product Data Management (PDM), including ERP system maintenance of Item, Bill of Material & Routing, and stock types in a multi-plant environment to maximize customer service levels, maintain inventory buffers and utilize lean manufacturing concepts. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of PDM and manufacturing operations, and maintain ERP master file data for new SKU introductions and change management of SKU parameters throughout its lifecycle. Stock model management requires a solid understanding of MRP and KANBAN inventory planning concepts.
Primary Responsibilities:
PDM:
  • Maintain ERP Item set up and daily maintenance of all Finished Goods and Raw Material SKU's, along with associated BOM and routing set-ups throughout the product lifecycle with a critical level of accuracy and attention to detail. Document all master file changes on PDM Change Log for standard cost updates.
  • Monitor JIRA workflow for SPO new/changed custom SKU set up requirements and ensure timely SKU implementation.
  • Ongoing PDM change management of SKU expansion to additional plants, source changes, replaced by new SKU introductions, etc.

Stock Model/Inventory Management:
  • Perform ongoing reviews of min/max and SMQ target inventory levels to identify necessary stock model overrides needed to ensure inventory optimization.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain leadership to align PDM set up with ERP Stock Model Fundamentals (AOQ, MOQ, Stock Type, Sourcing, etc.) and with Plant Schedulers to refine stock model settings.
  • Monitor forecasting and capacity planning updates to assist in identifying gaps and address overrides needed to reduce service exposure and risk.
  • Support quarterly reviews of Obsolete and Slow Moving Inventory, and SKU rationalization opportunities.
  • Ensures stock model profile positively impact Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

General:
  • Back-up to Master Scheduler for intercompany and interplant order management.
  • Interface extensively with cross-functional resources (Supply Chain, Customer Service, Forecasting, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, etc.).
  • Maintain various reporting systems to insure accuracy and timeliness, and
  • Participate heavily in WinCup's upcoming new Sage X3 ERP system implementation and testing.
  • Supports Supply Chain Director and Master Planner in day-to-day activities.
  • Responsible for Ad Hoc analysis and projects as requested.
  • Exemplifies WinCup's OPERA Vision and Values.

Qualifications
Competencies:
  • Must possess a strong knowledge of Supply Chain fundamentals, ERP systems and product/material cost structures
  • Work independently in a fast-paced work environment, with the ability to organize, prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Proactive, resourceful and results-oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Reporting capabilities utilizing multiple data sources and high level of accuracy.

Qualifications:
  • APICS certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or related field.
  • 3+ years working in a Manufacturing Supply Chain role.
  • 3+ Experience with ERP systems (Sage X3 preferred).
