Supply Chain Manager

Our team is currently seeking a Supply Chain Manager that will be responsible for the Cyclone Supply Chain function including purchasing, contracts and sourcing, warehousing, and inventory/logistics. This position will have oversight of a Buyer and Warehouse Manager and reports to the Plant Manager.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversee buying activities to ensure the minimization of risk in terms of quality and financial exposure by buying in accordance with quality and commercial procedures and in accordance with Cyclone guidelines.
• Negotiates pricing with vendors to reduce total material cost.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with the Sales team and all other departments to achieve goals and customer satisfaction.
• Enter and plan production work orders and enter new part numbers into ERP system as needed.
• Develop clear understanding of P&L and cause and effect of Supply Chain elements on balance sheet.
• Optimize warehousing functions and participates in a monthly physical inventory process.
• Manage the procurement of raw materials and finished goods components.
• Develop the budget and manage the expenses of the department.
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Negotiating skills are desirable.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or other relevant fields.
• Netsuites experience or other related ERP systems.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday 8 am – 5 pm
