How You Will Make An Impact
ThredUp is hiring a Senior Manager of Supply Chain Logistics to lead our quickly evolving transportation program to support our rapid growth. This is a high impact role for the company given our dependence on carriers for individual inbound supply shipments as well as outbound orders. Leveraging world class in-house industrial engineering, software development, and data analysis, you will have all the resources needed to innovate, test and manage new Supply Chain solutions. This position will report to the Director of Supply Chain.

You have the potential to become an expert negotiator who will hustle to deliver cost effective yet flexible transportation contracts to deliver predictable budget adherence. In This Role You’ll Get To:
Manage the development of our own in-house transportation network to consolidate orders and inventory across multiple domestic automated distribution centers
Be responsible for our relationship with all logistics partners including inbound and outbound small parcel carriers, freight,3PL storage, trailer rental and truck fleet providers
Innovate, experiment and develop creative Supply Chain solutions with our amazing operations, engineering and data science teams
Oversee the daily end to end flow of our small parcel and freight operations across multiple locations
Have ownership of a large logistics budget and achieve hero status by reducing inbound and outbound unit costs
Apply your First Principles thinking in a data rich environment to create world class transportation processes
Committed to continuously develop, mentor and grow direct reports
What We’re Looking For:
Experience developing new, creative logistical processes and solutions with cross functional operations and engineering teams
Strong negotiator with deep experience managing and reducing large transportation budgets
Solid knowledge and proficiency in spreadsheet modeling
Exceptional analytical (you know how to work a spreadsheet) and problem-solving skills (you like to ask why!)
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, ever changing business
Possess an entrepreneurial and founder mindset, ready to take on tasks outside of role with strong agility to change and to be flexible/resilient
4+ years of Supply Chain or logistics experience
BA/BS preferred
At ThredUp your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays between $105,000 and $140,000, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Many ThredUp employees also have the opportunity to own shares of ThredUp stock. ThredUp employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, as well as a discount when purchasing ThredUp stock if voluntarily participating in ThredUp’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Subject to eligibility requirements, you’ll also receive other benefits: Comprehensive medical & dental coverage, vision, 401k, life and disability insurance.
