Supply Chain Manager

Adecco is hiring immediately for a Supply Chain Manager with a local client in Irving, TX. Pay is based upon experience from $30/hr - $45/hr.
Duties:

• Develop requests for quotations, analyze supplier responses, negotiate, and implement business awards for indirect commodities.

• Collaborate with internal customers to understand and consolidate purchasing requirements and help establish contracts, guidelines, and policies.

• Supplier identification, evaluation, selection, and performance management.

• Create and implement strategies to ensure supply continuity and cost reduction. Work with internal customers to understand and consolidate purchasing requirements across the organization.

• Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.

• Negotiate agreements and monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.

• Lead cost reduction programs involving supplier changes, relocations, and negotiations, delivering savings per budget plans.

• Propose improvements to tools and processes, fostering operational excellence.

• Collaborate with senior management to align purchasing strategies with business goals.

• Lead initiatives to improve practices, efficiency, and processes.

• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree

• Purchasing, contract negotiation, strategic sourcing, and commodity strategy development experience

• Project Management experience - preferred

• Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP - preferred

• Technical or engineering background is advantageous

• Strong knowledge of procurement and Supply Chain

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Primarily local travel, with some overnight trips possible.
