Supply Chain Management Inventory Coordinator

Hybrid Remote

This position will be primarily responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, inventory transactions and supporting logistics team operations in a fast-paced environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory Reconciliation

• Inventory reconciliation including merchandise in transit items
• Month end reconciliation of SAP inventory ledger with warehouse activity report
• Review invoices from transportation and warehouse providers invoices
• Coordination of Over, Short and Damage resolution

Daily Inventory Monitor and Review

• Review inventory positions in SAP system for multiple warehouse locations
• Make daily adjustments to stock as needed
• Monitor EDI errors and discrepancies in SAP system, and reprocess orders as needed to insure inventory correctness
• Maintain various Excel reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis including to-be-expired, inventory position, open orders and merchandise in transit

Supply Chain Management Logistics Operation

• Review daily purchase orders and assess support required for FTL, LTL and expedited shipments in conjunction with appropriate service expectations and cost constraints
• Provide transportation and warehouse quotes in support of service needs and projects
• Overall function coordination with transportation and warehouse providers alike
• Track, monitor and report on all shipments
• Maintain various Excel reports on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis including carrier score cards.
• Day-to-day communication with suppliers, customers, distributors and logistic partners, consulting with the immediate supervisor and Logistics Manager(s)

Customer Service and Follow up

• Update internal and external customers about issues regarding Logistics service
• Resolve daily problems associated with suppliers, operators, volumes, delays and service
• POD follow-up to support claims and inventory process

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience using SAP or other ERP system
• 3 years of inventory reconciliation experience in a Supply Chain environment
• Excellent and professional written and verbal communication skills required
• Strong aptitude for numbers and data analysis, quick learner, problem-solver
• Detail oriented, accurate with good organizational, project and time management skills
• Self-starter, highly motivated and results-oriented
• Accounting background is preferred

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree required, with a preference for Accounting
