Supply Chain Engineering Analyst

Position Overview

The Navistar San Antonio Manufacturing Plant is a benchmark facility that builds leading-edge commercial vehicles to meet the needs of today's - and tomorrow's - customers. This facilityhas theflexibility to buildClass 6-8 trucks along with Electric Vehicles that allow Navistar to add capacity to support anticipated industry growth. Using the Internet of Things (IoT) and connected manufacturing principles, Navistar's newest manufacturing facility will continue growing our market share gains, optimizing our supplier network, and improving quality.

Solid understanding of Supply Chain in a Warehouse setting. 

Responsibilities

• Make recommendations and be responsible for the process day in and day out.
• Recommendations will be made for 3 positions working the kitting side and line side, overseeing the movement of product from warehouse to line and goods receiving process and delivery method process for existing parts.
• Provide support for storage intelligence systems (WMS and YMS).
• Oversee the guidance of team members who will man-up kitting process, the returnable flows process, and repacking process.
• Manage the Internal flows to waste from storage/ repacking.
• Work with transport interface and packaging interface, as well as internal flows to storage, body shop, and paint.
• Give guidance for team members who work with the replenishing process for kit cells.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree 

OR

• At least 2 years of Supply Chain or manufacturing experience

Additional Requirements

• Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills

• Strong IT skills working in several current and developing systems including Microsoft Excel, Power point, Word, Power BI.
• Experience presenting to all levels is preferred.
• Ability to set priorities, multitask and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to work effectively with teams to deliver results.
• Attention to detail, willingness to achieve high standards and continuously improve.
• Self-starter, motivated professional with strong written, verbal, and presentation communications skills.
• High level of accountability, ownership for tasks with little supervision.
