PALFINGER is searching for a Supply Chain Coordinator to oversee local procurement, inventory management, inside sales, forecasting and logistics. We are located at 1118 Craighead Road, Charlotte, NC 28206. This position reports to the General Manager of the Charlotte location.
Qualifications:
- Develop and understand (TMF) Truck Mounted Forklift product line to support effective communication with Sales, Operations, Customers and Employees
- Support, Negotiate, Purchase and Manage local suppliers as it relates to the TMF upfit
- Manage local inventory (strategy and physical) ensuring accuracy and adequate amount of material available to support forecast and inbound units
- Establish and maintain point of contact with Palfinger North America to manage flow of finished units from manufacturer to PUSA
- Responsible for managing and streamlining the process flow including but not limited to the release of paperwork through to material consumption and production
- Support and Manage local unfitting schedule to ensure a smooth flow of products for the distribution channel
- Communicate (ETA’s) Estimated Time of Delivery to both internal & external stakeholders
- Manage and communicate finished goods inventory supporting sales team & Operations
- Compile & Support monthly (WSC), quarterly and annually (SOP) forecasts together with the commercial team
- Gather and collect all required documentation to process new customer orders as well as the administrative order entry duties into the local ERP
- Perform invoicing duties
- Schedule and arrange logistics for outbound deliveries
- Allocate and Re-allocate customer orders to ensure optimal outbound load efficiency is met
- ination for inventory tracking that includes most up to date cost imputes in spread sheet for the monthly, quarterly review process.
- Provide support as required for Customer Relation System (CRM) to support the sales coordination
- Assist with inside sales as required to ensure we are support customers and internal stakeholders.
- Receive and fill orders for parts via telephone or email
- Return all calls and emails in a timely matter.
- Assist customers with questions
- Receive payment or obtain credit authorization. Communicate with Finance and identify any payment issues.
- Travel to PUSA work locations, that could be in various locations with the U.S

Palfinger USA works with its customers to provide equipment ideally suited for the job from project inception to delivery and beyond. Customers range from owner-operators with one truck to fleets with hundreds of trucks in the field. The main facility in Tiffin, Ohio, offers engineering capabilities, ten drive-in shop bays, a complete machine shop, a paint booth, and in-house and mobile service.
