Position Description:

• Key liaison for assigned categories to provide active solutions to business needs.
• Lead development of sourcing strategies and tactical execution plan for assigned categories.
• Review key category and market factors to determine optimal sourcing strategy
• Develop work plans and landmark schedules. Integrate plans and schedules with business needs to enable on-time execution.
• Identify and participate in continuous improvement and market intelligence practices to drive efficiencies and cost reductions.
• Develop bid tenders and negotiation templates and lead efforts to solicit commercial offerings. Lead ad hoc and emergency requirements.
• Negotiate and maintain contractual terms and conditions utilizing Master Service Agreements (MSA's), Purchase Orders (PO’s), Outline Agreements (OLA’s) and other contractual terms and conditions as necessary
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain management required.
• 5+ years of Supply Chain management experience supporting upstream oil and gas preferred
• Intermediate level of proficiency conducting RFP’s, sourcing evaluations, and post-award contract management
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, business, or related technical discipline preferred
• Intermediate level of proficiency in technical and commercial analytics and evaluations
• Proven ability to implement plans; effective organizational skills
• Ability to understand business needs and handle Supply Chain activities

Position Details:

Pay Rate: $35-50/hr.

Hours: 5/2 schedule (9 hr days)

Location: Houston, TX

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
