Job Summary
The SCS Service Line Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering a coordinated supply support system that operates efficiently and meets the needs of the facility specialty area. Serves as departmental liaison for Supply Chain Services with key departments.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.
Builds and maintains par level in Central Supply. Confirms accurate receiving of products with a focus on inventory and supply needs Verifies hospital deliveries and delivers to department. Gains familiarity with approved substitute products as necessary. Contacts local vendor reps as necessary to meet urgent supply needs.
Maintains open and frequent communications with department staff and managers as necessary to ensure uninterrupted supply delivery and customer support to par areas and all supply requests.
Provides resource support for inventory reduction opportunities. Documents monthly supply inventory reductions.
Maintains records such as dates of requisitions, delivery verifications, back- orders. Ensures accurate tracking of supply data such as manufacturer numbers, expiration dates, product recalls, lot numbers, etc. as needed.
Processes department-specific supply requisitions in cooperation with the Buyer, confirms accuracy of requisitions, monitors delivery date expectations, works with department staff to ensure information accuracy.
Assists in inventory maintenance with a focus on inventory reduction while maintaining adequate department-specific supply levels for stores-based supplies, par levels, reorder points, and Min/Max levels.
Performs constant review of expiration dates and the processes of removal, replacement, and documentation as directed by department leadership and SCS Manager.

Minimum Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
- 2+ year experience required
- Experience in related job roles
- Basic communication skills
