Summary
Ever.Ag’s Transportation Business Unit is transforming and digitizing the dairy Supply Chain. We provide commodity trading services, dairy transport 3PL services, dairy transport consulting, and other services to our corporate and co-op dairy clients. We are seeking a well-rounded collegiate candidate with a keen interest in Supply Chain processes and technology, preferably with a focus in agriculture, dairy, and/or transportation.
What are some potential projects?
Leveraging innovative technologies and business practices in the areas of transportation procurement, scheduling, shipping/receiving, planning/tracking and hauler payment—all to make the agricultural Supply Chain work better. Other duties as assigned.
What competencies can you expect to receive/improve?
You can expect to gain a wealth of knowledge and experience in ag transportation. As the industry leader in ag transportation, we lead the way in providing innovative solutions and consulting that brings change and real value to our clients. You will gain valuable knowledge and experience by working hand-in-hand with our team of experts who have a wide range logistics and transportation expertise, as well as ag haulers and clients. Other experience could include PowerPoint, research, and advanced excel skills.
About You (Qualifications):
Our ideal candidate will be working toward a degree in Supply Chain, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or similar. Some experience in agriculture and/or commercial transportation, and a strong interest in a future in the dairy industry; farm, transportation, plant operations, or business are preferable. Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is preferred.
About the team:
We are a team of ten men and women, with a range of Supply Chain backgrounds and specialties—recent graduates to seasoned professionals, with a wide range of experience levels. Although we all work remotely, you will work closely with one or more mentors. As a team, we come together in small groups on many projects, and gather as a team weekly on Zoom, and meet together at our Frisco, TX home base as often as possible (a few times each year). We work hard, provide real value to our clients, and have fun doing it.
