Purpose:
This position will support analytic and business activities within the Supplier Relationship Management department. This role will provide reporting and is responsible for synthesizing analysis with strategy development. This position will provide analytical bandwidth for focus area of support, working with all levels of the organization to ensure root causes are identified and improvement plans are in place.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains reporting to support retained income growth and marketing activities.
- Manages monthly revenue tracking processes, with key understanding of trends, risks and opportunities. Ability to effectively communicate results to Senior Management. Provides proformas upon request, using analysis to anticipate program performance.
- Completes miscellaneous financial analyses and reports as requested by Senior Management.
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure that monies owed are collected accordingly. Perform audits to validate payment.
- Manages the development of new reports; responsible for complex reporting processes on key functional KPI's. Owns communication and analysis associated with reporting efforts.
- Supports functional and cross functional projects and is able to implement process improvements within functional area.
- Performs advanced analysis - incorporates data from different areas and synthesizes. Findings incorporate cross functional impacts, trends, and industry news.
- Proactively identifies prospective vendor partners utilizing data, trends and industry knowledge.
- Supports vendor partner discussions through research and analysis, providing findings to Management team in a timely manner.
- Survey vendor partner community to understand needs, to better our reporting capabilities and offerings.
- Act as resource for vendor partners, transforming raw data into actionable format. Support vendor partner analysis requests as needed.
- Support analytical resources that can supply monthly reporting into a tool that vendors can effectively use.
- Proven ability to analyze business process and provide suggestions for improvement. Supports process improvements within functional area.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Education/ Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceExperience:
- 5 -7 years’ experience
- Demonstrated success in leading and delivering solutions to complex business opportunities
- Financial modeling experience
- Project Management experience strongly preferred
Knowledge:
- Strong Financial and Operations / Business Background.
- Strong business acumen
Skills/ Abilities:
- Outstanding analytical skills (numerical, verbal)
- Must be self-driven and very motivated
- Must be comfortable working in a chaotic environment and working with constantly changing priorities
- Leads and directs the work of others across the company, without direct organizational line of authority
- Strong administrative, organizational and relationship skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills are required
- Position also requires strong interpersonal skills, discretion, diplomacy, and judgment
- Strong teamwork ethic, positive proactive flexible attitude ability to take complete ownership of responsibilities
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraints as well as handle a number of tasks simultaneously required
- Medium skillset in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access and related software applications

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements. Sales Positions Only: For sales positions that are commission-based, the above range is an estimate of total potential commission-based compensation during an associate’s first year, but UNFI offers an introductory period minimum of $680 per week. After the introductory period, as a 100% commission-based role, there is no set salary. UNFI’s commission plans are uncapped and average earnings vary depending on territory and sales achieved, among other factors.
