Supplier Quality Engineer

Summary: Supplier Quality Engineer required with expertise in supplier validation, PPAP, and EUMDR.

Job Requirements:

• Must have prior EU MDR validation, qualification, PPAP support and experience.

• Experience in validating new designs and qualifications for products to support EU MDR.

• "Tissues/Heart Valve" experience would be ideal.

• BS Engineering degree with 4+ years of experience.

• The ability to work fully remote.

Preferred Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of supplier development.

• Strong EUMDR knowledge.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensuring suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services.

• Qualifying suppliers according to company standards, possibly administering a Certified Supplier Program in receiving inspection to ensure cost effectiveness.

• Monitoring parts from acquisition through the manufacturing cycle and communicating and resolving supplier-related problems as they occur.

• Developing and prioritizing an auditing schedule to ensure that designated suppliers are audited on a regular basis to ensure good manufacturing practices (GMP) and quality standards are met.

• Evaluating suppliers' internal functions to assess their overall performance and providing feedback in assessment of their operation.

Pay: 38-51

Pay Details: $38.00 to $51.00 per hour
