SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE STATEMENT GS-09 Specialized experience is defined as assisting in the adjudication of debt/waiver applications and their supporting documentation; researching payroll regulations and precedents to help in the adjudication of those applications; preparing reports outlining and supporting the determinations made during the adjudication of debt/waiver applications citing laws and legal precedent; and processing payroll adjudications and adjustments in an automated pay system as a result of claims decisions.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE STATEMENT GS-10 Specialized experience is defined as adjudicating claims of indebtedness; determining any indications of fraud, misrepresentation, fault or lack of good faith on the part of the individual or other person having interest in the claim and preparing detailed written notification of the decision and appeal rights.
Time-in-Grade GS-09: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-08 or higher grade in Federal Service.
