Supervisory Emergency Management Specialist (Recovery)

In this position, you will serve as a Supervisory Emergency Management Specialist (Recovery) -Field Deployment Unit Supervisor in the Region Three Recovery Division, Public Assistance Disaster Operations Branch.Qualifications:

To qualify for thisSupervisory Emergency Management Specialist (Recovery) position at the IC-13 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-12 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following:

1. Leading teams in the delivery of disaster assistance programs including identifying staff priorities and monitoring progress;
2. Researching, analyzing, and developing resolutions for disaster recovery operations; and
3. Delivering disaster assistance by coordinating with federal, tribal, territorial, state, or local governments and/or voluntary organizations.
