SALARY : $4,156.53 - $6,021.60/ Month

BASIC FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITY
Responsible for daily operations of the assigned department and for leading staff to fulfill the desired operational, financial, growth and people goals of assigned areas.
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES
Assist management in monitoring department operations and objectives to ensure the quality of services meets with the standards of the UMHC mission and goals.
Supervise a high performing team(s) by interviewing, selecting, developing, evaluating, coaching and counseling direct reports. Achieve and maintain high patient satisfaction and employee engagement along with individual feedback to identify opportunities for improvement, implement action plans to achieve desired results.
Communicate and collaborate effectively to develop relationships with other hospital departments in order to address concerns and work towards a resolution that offers quality services. Including protocol development and training, and ensuring product meets provider/facility expectations. Networks with other departments to train staff and will collaborate with leaders at other healthcare facilities to implement service,
Assist with the development, administration and achievement of the budget and financial targets, maintain and monitor staffing levels, productivity and throughput. Regular monitoring of financial operations as needed.
Coordinate and direct development of processes and procedures compatible with established policies of UMHC and all accrediting and regulatory governing bodies. Instruct and advise staff on changes in policies, procedures and working conditions. Initiate performance improvement activities for areas of responsibility, engaging staff and physician involvement, and ensuring operational performance that meets best practice standards. Initiate actions for improvement, involving appropriate staff.
Assist in development of new product lines for assigned area including business opportunities, developing and implementing a business plan, and monitoring results.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
General Su p er v i s i o n received from the Department Manager or assigned designee.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED
Direct supervision provided over assigned staff.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities can be acquired.
Two (2) years of directly related clinical or clerical experience in a health care or service industry.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Work experience with supervising staff (knowledge of schedules, payroll, and personnel management) and leading clinical operations related to communications applications in health care or service industry with a focus on positive customer outcomes. Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
