We are searching for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Corporate Controlling team in our Irving, Texas North American headquarters.
**What you'll get to do**
+ Assist with the monthly, quarterly and annual Close processes, including preparation and posting of journal entries, in accordance with the company's direction and regional reporting requirements
+ Prepare and review monthly account reconciliations. Maintain supporting schedules. Reconcile discrepancies
+ Assistance with lease accounting, internal controls and other reporting tasks
+ Perform special projects and analysis as directed, including purchase price allocation for acquisitions, ESG reporting and Government Grants
+ Assist team with the annual external audit
+ Assist in the development and implementation of process initiatives related to month end close, financial reporting, and business operations
+ Ensure compliance with accounting and reporting standards
**Essential Experience and Skills**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
+ Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience
+ Understanding of accounting theory, current accounting issues, and accounting systems
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate effectively with various departments throughout the organization
+ A proven track record in managing tasks, meeting deadlines, and working collaboratively as part of a team
+ Commitment and engagement through high level of work ethic and utilization of abilities for the best of the company, demonstrated drive and initiative
+ Performance and result management
+ Demonstrated openness to change, flexibility, and adaptability
+ Ability to analyze business conditions and build partnerships across functions

+ Understanding of financial statements and accounting relationships
**Preferred Experience and Skills**
+ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred
+ Public accounting experience is preferred
+ Experience and knowledge with IFRS is a plus
+ Experience with SAP and Essbase is a plus
