Position Summary

As a Supervisor ofIDD Waiver Program Provider Reviews you hold a crucial position in guiding and managing the daily functions related to the West Virginia I/DD Waiver Program . This pivotal role ensures the highest standards of quality are maintained and our contractual commitments are fulfilled. Your responsibilities encompass daily operational oversight of the Provider Educator team, provider relationships, and to achieve contract deliverables. The development and ongoing monitoring of quality measures is central feature; in addition to coordinating stakeholder meetings and generating relevant reports..

In this capacity, you are expected to exercise independent judgment, drawing upon your extensive expertise, excellent communication , and problem-solving abilities. As a Supervisor ofIDD Waiver Program Provider Reviews, you will play an instrumental role in securing the best possible outcomes for our Clients and Providers, aligning with the goals and requirements of our contract.

Job Responsibilities:

• Facilitating Communication: Maintain effective verbal and written communication channels between I/DD Waiver Provider agencies, other Acentra IDD teams, and our contractor.,
• Serving as a Direct Liaison: Act as the primary intermediary between I/DD Waiver Provider agencies and our internal IDD Waiver Program team, including support personnel, to foster a cohesive working environment.
• Leading Quality Monitoring: In collaboration with your team, oversee quality monitoring activities. This includes identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address them.
• Conducting Reviews and Reporting: Execute agency Provider Reviews and complete associated reports, including disallowance reports, ensuring adherence to standards.
• Developing and Conducting Training: Design and deliver training sessions for provider agencies and other stakeholders, as necessary or assigned.
• Offering Technical Assistance: Provide technical support to provider agencies upon request, aiding in their operational effectiveness.
• Ensuring Inter-Rater Reliability: Fulfill inter-rater reliability tasks as assigned to maintain consistency and accuracy in evaluations.

Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory, coupled with a minimum of 2 - 3 years of relevant experience, ideally within the I/DD Waiver program. Comprehensive knowledge of the I/DD Waiver program is essential.
• Minimum of 2 + years in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred, demonstrating a capacity for leadership and team management.
• Exceptional customer service skills are a must, along with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities. The role demands proficiency in building and sustaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• The candidate must be highly organized, capable of efficiently managing their time, and adept at planning and prioritizing multiple tasks, even when faced with potentially conflicting deadlines.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite is required. Experience with I/DD Waiver CareConnection software is highly preferred, enhancing operational efficiency.
• A keen attention to detail, combined with analytical skills, is necessary. The role also requires demonstrated capability in making informed decisions, especially under pressure.
• Exhibit professionalism, flexibility, and dependability, showing initiative and sound judgment in their job performance.
• Ongoing professional development, including staying updated on regulatory changes, is vital.

Compensation

The compensation for this role is $56,000 to $63,000 annual salary. Based on our compensation program, an applicant’s position placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.
