Safe At HomeWraparound Supervisor

 

 

Location: Wheeling, WV

 

 

Position Summary

 

This position will supervise the Safe-at-Home program. Safe-at-Home West Virginia is an innovative approach to providing child welfare and community services to youth ages 12-18 who have a severe emotional disability and are at risk of residential placement or are currently in residential placement needing to transition back to their community. This state program seeks to serve youth and their families in their communities by wrapping needed services and supports around the family. 
 

Safe-at-Home is a wraparound based on the evidence-informed and evidence-based National Wraparound Initiative. 

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

The  Wraparound Supervisor position may include the following, as well as other duties assigned:

 

  • Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Program's mission, values, and philosophies.
  • Provide administration coordination for program contracts while aggressively seeking the growth and expansion in the local market(s) through relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Sign off on all Incident Reports and other required reports as well as submitting the reports for processing according to agency policy.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with personnel policies and the program's fiscal guidelines; Work collaboratively with other NYAP programs and staff throughout the organization.
  • Assign mediation services, when authorized, and regularly review the progress and status of the case(s).
  • Coordinate all intake services, initial paperwork, and documentation; Recruit mediator volunteers for the program.
  • Supervise Safe at Home and CSED Facilitator staff in Ohio, Brooke, and Hancock Counties. 

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution is required.
  • A valid advanced professional license or certification as required and acceptable by state or contract regulations is preferred. (LGSW, LCSW, LCISW or LPC)
  • Two years' direct experience in the field of human services.
  • Relevant experience working with individuals being served through the child welfare and/or juvenile justice system.
  • Training, education, and/or experience related to the following:
    • Family facilitation, mediation, and/or conflict resolution.
    • Strengths based assessment and planning.
    • Communication and ability to relate to diverse groups and manage interpersonal conflict.
  • Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones and tablets, printers, fax machines, and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs.

 

 

Other Skills:

 

  • Some travel is required.
  • Must be open and willing to work non-traditional work hours as well as on-call responsibilities.
  • Must be able to embrace working as a diverse team both effectively and respectfully with persons of any background, race, color, religion, sexual orientation, ability, national origin, or culture.
  • Provide excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Must possess good verbal, listening, and written communication skills.

  • Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,00/$300,000 bodily injury liability
