Imagine360 is currently seeking a Supervisor, Internal Audit to join our team! The Supervisor, Internal Audit provides support and guidance for the Internal Audit team, including managing timecards, PTO coordination, and other supervisory duties.
They balance this role with Internal Audit responsibilities, to review and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of Imagine360 operations, processes, controls and practices, as well as related procedures, according to the approved audit plan.
This position requires a comprehensive understanding of the overall operation and interrelationships within the organization.
Position: 100% Remote
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supervisory
- Conducts regular performance evaluation of employee, provides ongoing feedback and coaching to achieve service, quality and production goals. Assists in performing the annual review.
- Addresses and counsels employees on behavioral or performance problems and implements corrective action and follow-up as necessary.
- Explains and administers company policies/information required for team members to successfully perform their duties.
- Distributes and monitors departmental work assignments to ensure adequate coverage to meet quality and service levels.
- Coordinates/facilitates and actively participates in departmental meetings.
Administrative
- Acts as a liaison between other departments to ensure collaborative progress toward desired state
- Exhibits strong working knowledge of Internal Audit processes.
- Demonstrates strategic business acumen in making decisions to affect bottom line focus.
- Develop, generate, trend and deliver reports accurately and timely.
- Delivers reports to director on a scheduled basis that reflect performance to service levels.
- Manages employee timecards, PTO requests, payroll issues.
- Monitor and manages audit volume to meet service level expectations.
- Assists in first line troubleshooting for technical issues.
Internal Audit
- The audit team is compiled of a variety of auditors such as; Call Center, Claims, Claim Registration, Eligibility, Billing, Provider Pricing, Provider Maintenance, and Correspondence.
- There will be regularly assigned duties, however, flexibility within the department may be required based on organizational needs.
- Develops the scope for operational, implementation, renewal, and internal controls audits, selecting/developing appropriate audit steps necessary to promote effective audit coverage.
- Responsible for reviewing and assessing processes, controls, practices, and related procedures according to approved audit plans for selected areas of the organization to ensure legal compliance and consistency of internal controls.
- Proposes value-added recommendations to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operational and management processes and system controls.
- Collects and analyzes results of audits to identify discrepancies between work processes and documented standards, deficient controls, root causes of non-conformance, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, or plan documents.
- Conducts ad-hoc investigations and reviews as requested by management.
- Coordinates with external and client auditors to ensure data and information is provided to and received from auditors and auditing entities; provides timely response to audit reports and completes overviews for management review.
Maintains integrity of data within Internal Audit database; develops and runs a variety of database reports for internal and external reporting requirements, and ad hoc reports as requested.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of claims, eligibility or related industry work experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Two-year associates degree
- Healthcare Benefits/Insurance industry experience
