Job Overview:
SANFORD FEDERAL is looking to hire qualified Gate Attendants to perform visitor assistance and use fee collection at campground gatehouses at Midway Park, Speegleville Park, Reynolds Creek Park and Airport Park in Wako Lake, TX.
Job Details:
- Job Title:Gate Attendant
- Locations:Airport Park: Airport Park, Waco, TX 76708.
- Schedule: Part-time, Full-Time
Requirements & Skills:
- Must be at least age 18.
- Must possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to sit or stand in a relatively small area for hours at a time and have some physical stamina.
- Proven experience as a Shift Lead or relevant managerial role.
- Leadership skills and ability to make decisions fast.
- Must possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent.

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collection of User Fees; the Gate Attendant shall collect user fees.
- Campsite Reservations: monitor reservation data reports and maintain status reports to ensure campsite status is current.
- Campground Status Report: maintain a record of current status for each campsite occupied.
- Maintain a fully clothed and neat, well-groomed appearance.
- Maintain written record of park facilities complaints.
- Clean interior and surrounding grounds of gatehouse - No smoking in gatehouse.
- Print out end of day shift reports and attach receipts and passes that go with the shift's activity.
- Maintain a tabulation of all USACE and America the Beautiful Pass and required documentation.
- Monitor team performance and ensure duties are performed efficiently.
- Report any issues that arise during the shift to management.
- Coach team members and train new staff.
- Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to management.
- Must be readily available by telephone or other means approved by the Lake Manager.
- Serve as the Quality Control Inspector, provided that his/her job performance in each category is maintained at an acceptable level to the Lake Manager.
