Job Description
Doggett Concrete Construction, established in 1964, is a mid-size Concrete Construction company operating in North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Georgia. With a strong foundation and support already in place, we are adding this position to further grow the company.
Full-time individual needed to be responsible for managing multiple new construction projects in the field from start to finish located in Atlanta, GA.
Duties to include, but not limited to the following:
· Understanding full scope of work for each project
· Manage all business aspects of multiple concurrent projects and ensure financial targets are met while maintaining established quality standards
· Manage all activities associated with production including labor, materials, equipment and services
· Manage the work load accurately as related to the contracted scope of work
· Manage Crew Chiefs and field crews
· Schedule and manage concrete delivery
· Purchases and track quantities of supplied materials to all projects
· Maintains a professional relationship with clients and ensures clear and consistent communication
· Develop and maintain updated and accurate schedules & daily reports for each project
· Develops and maintains a fair and professional relationship with subcontractors and vendors
· Ensures safe work environment and quality standards are maintained
Desired Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, the Superintendent will possess:
· 5+ years construction project field management experience from a subcontractor’s perspective. Concrete construction management experience is required
· Experienced managing multiple projects at one time
· Proven track record in the successful management of project cost, schedule, safety and quality
· Superior communication skills. Able to work effectively and develop strong working relationships with vendors and clients
· Spanish speaking required
· Computer literate, experienced with Microsoft Office products to include Microsoft Project and construction programs such as Timberline, and PlanSwift.
· OSHA 10-hour training
