Description
General Beer Distributors Madison is currently hiring for Summer Warehouse Associates.
This position facilitates receiving, warehousing, and distribution functions of the company.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Adheres to company quality and freshness standards in inventory and loading practices.
• Receive incoming orders and process to assigned warehouse locations.
• Promptly prepares all required reports.
• Operates company equipment safely and in accordance with OSHA and company guidelines.
• Reports for work on time and appropriately dressed.
• Receiving and shipping of products, equipment, merchandise, and supplies.
• Maintain a clean warehouse environment.
• Files breakage reports in a timely and efficient manner.
• Restocks roller racking and prepares the warehouse for the night crew.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Skills certification to operate warehouse product handling equipment (forkilifts) in compliance with all safety regulations and operate them accordingly.
• Must be able to lift from 5 to 150 lbs. multiple times per day.
• Must be able to crawl, reach, twist, and bend.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, add, subtract, multiply, and divide at a high school equivalency level.
• Ability to accept responsibility and account for their actions.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with Class A B C CDL certification preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and lift test.
Salary Description
$18-$20/Hour
