Position: Summer Early Childhood Educator-Lead Preschool Teacher (3 Positions 1.0 FTE, .5 FTE, .6 FTE)

Qualifications:

• Must meet the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs requirements for Child Care Preschool

Directors

• Minimum Bachelor’s in Early Childhood preferred

• Experience using the HighScope curriculum preferred

• Demonstrate aptitude and competence for assigned duties and tasks

• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills required

• CPR and First Aid required

• Strong organizational skills and satisfactory work record required, Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize

tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

• Enthusiastic personality and evidence of initiative

• Other duties as assigned
  

Description:

To provide a learning environment for the preschool student that promotes success and independence using an active hands-
on approach.
