Lead Preschool Teacher

Little Learners Childcare Center LLC has an immediate opening for a Lead Teacher at our Lapeer Center where we provide a structured daily routine with a play-based curriculum. This is a full-time, permanent position in the Preschool classroom offering health insurance, paid vacation and holidays, paid trainings, bonuses and so much more!

We are a fast-growing, family owned and operated, childcare center specializing in providing early education for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. As we continue to expand, we are looking for energetic, passionate, and dependable individuals with a strong desire to teach our little learners and make a difference every day!

Qualifications for our Teachers include:

• Prior experience as a Lead Teacher in a Childcare Center
• Educational requirements: Minimum 12 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or child related field with 960 hours of experience and 3 semester hours of Infant/Toddler development and care practices
• CPR and First Aid Certification, or we will recertify you
• Basic computer skills to assist with projects and daily logging of child’s information
• Ability to engage in physical activity and lift up to 30lbs. when needed
• Familiar with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Meet background check requirements with fingerprint clearance
• Provide negative TB test results prior to starting position
• Strong communication and instructional skills
• Dependable and flexible with a strong work ethic
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent multi-tasking ability
