Summer Intern - Administration / Business Intelligence Analyst Intern

The mission of the Allen Institute administration team is to provide support and structure to the scientific divisions. Coinciding with the team science approach, administration helps facilitate team learning and the overall mission of the institute.
We are seeking a summer intern to join the Finance department for the summer of 2024. They will work with our administrative departments to develop automated reporting, visualizations, and dashboards. As a member of the Business Intelligence team, the intern will have the opportunity to gather requirements directly from business leaders and will gain experience using modern tools to turn those requirements into actionable reporting and visualizations. The intern will also have the opportunity to explore their own interests.

Applicant Requirements
- Must be enrolled in, or a 2024 graduate of an accredited associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree program
- Must be able to start on either June 3rd or June 17th, 2024 and commit to the full 10-week program
- Must be eligible to work in the United States for the duration of the internship
- Must be 18 years of age or older

- Fine motor movements in fingers/hands to operate computers and other office equipment; repetitive motion with lab equipment
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- Interns are expected to work 35-40 hours a week throughout the 10-week period
- This role is expected to work onsite for the majority of working hours. The primary work location for this role is 615 Westlake Ave N., with the flexibility to work remotely on a limited basis.

Compensation
- $19.97 per hour (non-negotiable)
