About the Role
As a Director of Product Management, you will be part of the product leadership team driving Ramp to the next level. You will own our entire financial platform suite which includes payments, risk management, authentication, collections, and treasury. These services power every product for our growing customer base and move billions of dollars every year.
We're looking for an incredible product leader who has experience leading high performing teams and consistently delivering incredible product experiences for customers. A great candidate can partner and collaborate across various internal teams, has a deep understanding of our customers and technology, and deliver financial products to streamline complex business flows via a fantastic user experience.
Please note that this Product Management role will require you to be comfortable with working in-person at our NYC HQ (located near Madison Square Park) at least 2 days/week
What You'll Do
  • Own our entire financial platform suite which includes payments, risk management, authentication, collections, and treasury
  • Lead and inspire a team of product managers to accomplish the best work of their lives and grow every day
  • Evolve how Ramp evaluates risk using machine learning and help build the infrastructure to scale to millions of businesses in the U.S.
  • Own the vision, strategy, and processes that allow Ramp to scale the Product Management function at various stages of growth.
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional partners, including engineering, data, design, partnerships, operations, legal, marketing and sales to build, launch, distribute and service our product
  • Deliver incredible products and experiences by combining a deep understanding of business strategy with creative product strategy and technical acumen
  • Leverage data and customer feedback to constantly iterate and evolve product offerings
  • Own the product roadmap, priorities and execution across the entire financial platform

What You'll Need
  • Minimum 8 years in Product Management, with experience in building platform products and in serving both internal and external customers/stakeholders
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing a team of Product Managers - including hiring, training, and growing direct reports to be better versions of themselves
  • Experience working in technical Product Management such as payment platforms
  • Experience in risk management or other highly quantitative fields
  • Experience managing software products from kick-off to ship
  • Consistent track record of leading ambitious and ambiguous 0-to-1 projects
  • Strong stakeholder management including navigating difficult situations, negotiating timelines, and influencing internal and external stakeholders across organizations and borders
  • Strong communications skills - you can summarize and express complex requirements in an accessible and precise manner
  • Fluency in data and how to make data-driven product decisions

Compensation
  • The annual salary/OTE range for the target level for this role is $272,000-$320,000 + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
