JOB SUMMARY
Nabors Drilling Solutions is an oil and gas service company and a division of Nabors Drilling Technologies USA, Inc. With offices in Alaska, North Dakota, North East, Wyoming, East/South/and West Texas, we are positioned to service both the North American and International marketplaces. Our workforce, like our technology, is rapidly expanding and looking for a Summer Intern - Performance Products.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Summer Intern - Performance Products is responsible for developing understanding of automated drilling services within their assigned area and tracking data sets to show performance & value. They ensure NDS Performance Drilling technologies deliver maximum value by engaging the customer and closely working with drilling and remote operations, as well as training groups and technical support.
Performance Products Operations
o Provide drilling performance analysis including interaction with customer and field personnel to obtain information as needed.
o Actively contribute to the development of the Performance Drilling Knowledge Base through improvements to the tool as well as data entry and analysis.
o Provide support to drilling operations during field trials and develop sufficient knowledge of the applicable Drilling Performance products with the drilling contractor and operator.
o Create reports for internal and external distribution to document value of the products and recommended next steps in technology adoption.
o Track and report active job and trial activity. Work with all required functions in the organization to ensure adequate staffing, resources and support for current operations; anticipate future needs for the same in close collaborations with v geomarkets.
Sales Support
o Support account managers and operations managers during sales calls and customer visits including technical discussions, product presentations and product training.
o Identify, validate and qualify opportunities for application of NDS technologies.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong analytical skills; Demonstrated ability to develop analysis spreadsheets and reports.
• Effective verbal and written communicator.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Proficient knowledge of Spotfire and PowerBI applications
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS
• The primary location for this position is an office environment.
• Rig yard trips may be expected from time to time.
