Sourcebooks offers a 10- week PAID, IN-PERSON internship at our Naperville, IL offices in with our Data and Analytics team. Interns are given the opportunity to get hand-on, intensive exposure, experience, and tools to help you learn about a career in book publishing.
During the Metadata and Analytics Internship you will learn about the critical role metadata plays at Sourcebooks and in the publishing industry as a whole, and how it can be optimized to increase discoverability using the latest innovative technology; gain knowledge of the life cycle of a book in the market and partake in our Summer Sprints experimental program, which was called out by Fast Company when naming Sourcebooks an innovative place to work in 2023.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Business Suite programs (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent attention to detail, strong project management and organization skills
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment and possess strong communication skills
- Summer interns will work 20-24 hours per week over Tuesday- Thursday each week on-site in Naperville, Illinois.
- Interns are compensated $15/hour.
