NOTICE OF HYBRID WORK MODEL
AmeriHealth Caritas is committed to the achievement of our business priorities while supporting associate recruitment, retention, and overall work/life balance. This office-based internship is eligible to participate in our Hybrid Work Model, defined by 3 days in the office with up to 2 days of remote work per week. Candidates must be able to work a hybrid work schedule at the Airport Business Center Campus, 200 Stevens Drive, Philadelphia, PA from June 3, 2024, to August 9, 2024.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Associate Services department plays an integral role in supporting the day-to-day business operations of the enterprise, in collaboration with Internal Communications, Finance, Corporate Facilities, and Human Resources. Under the direction of Associate Services Leadership, the SharePoint Specialist Summer Intern will assist the Associate Services team:
- Upgrade and convert Microsoft InfoPath forms to SharePoint Designer versions as necessary, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption to user experience.
- Design, develop, and customize solutions using SharePoint applications, web parts, workflows, and other components, to enhance functionality and interactivity of engagement and teambuilding activity products (word puzzles, virtual games, leaderboards, etc.).
- Conduct an audit of site user permissions and assist in creating and simplifying permission group structure and maintenance.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required Skills:
- A strong background in SharePoint development, a deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, and the ability to create efficient and effective solutions to meet customer needs.
- In-depth knowledge of SharePoint development tools, including InfoPath and SharePoint Designer, and features such as lists, libraries, workflows, content types, and permissions.
- Familiarity with web development languages, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery.
Desirable Skills:
- Understanding of ASP.net web forms and cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Experience in web design with awareness of UI/UX principles.
- Experience merging content between SharePoint and Office 365 platforms.
- Undergraduate or Graduate student in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or other related field.
- Self-starter adept at learning and implementing new systems and processes.
- Ability to work independently to prioritize and handle multiple projects and tasks to completion with limited direction.
