Summer Day Camp Counselor (Open Positions: 20)

Job Status: Part-Time
Shift: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Days Worked: Mon., Tue., Wed., Thu., Fri.
Rate of Pay: $12.02 - $12.02
Job Summary
Major Job Duties
- Supervises campers at all times.
- Assists with planning & organizing activities for campers.
- Leads activities & interacts with campers.
- Meets/greets camper and customers.
- Helps to maintain facility and enforces rules and procedures.
- Basic cleaning duties: sweeping, mopping, dusting, and taking out trash.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 16 years of age or older at or before the date of employment
- Reliable transportation
- Knowledge of childcare practices
- Communication skills
- Leadership Skills
Physical Demands
- Work typically involves walking, running, sitting, standing, crouching, bending or stooping. Frequently lifts light objects and occasionally lifts heavy objects.
- The work is typically performed in a gymnasium and occasionally outdoors.
Salary & Benefits
This is a seasonal position with no benefits, Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 6:00pm (hours vary). The minimum pay grade is 3A ($12.02/hour), or higher depending on assignment and experience.
