Our 11-week summer internship program will be in person in Atlanta (some remote workdays available) and run from May 20, 2024 - August 2, 2024.
As a Summer Associate, you will partner with the legal team to review and analyze situations that arise in real property, intellectual property, labor and employment, contracts, and litigation.
You can expect to...
- Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences with in-house and outside counsel
- Training for review of contracts, SNDAs, NDAs, leases, and Estoppel agreements from internal clients
- Draft responses for subpoenas and discovery requests
- Review and analyze deposition transcripts for active cases
- Oversee document review requests with outside counsel
- Assist with projects and overflow document review
- Review and edit Excel, PDF, and Word documents
What you'll need:
- Ideal candidate will be a rising 2L with a completed four-year bachelor's degree and one year of law school
- Synthesizes data to enable fact-based decision making to inform strategic and operational recommendations that translate into action.
- Works in highly team-oriented capacity partnering closely with business unit and functional teammates.
- Shows ability to effectively communicate and collaborate.
- Embodies self-starter mentality and demonstrates ability to successfully manage multiple projects.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
