Job Summary | Facilities Management at Auburn University is excited to begin the search for an Electronic Access Technician to perform basic level maintenance of Electronic Access control systems, intrusion systems, and door hardware throughout the University. Minimum Qualifications | Level I High school diploma or equivalent plus 1 year of experience of electrical or electro-mechanical maintenance and hand tool use. Level II - High school diploma or equivalent plus 3 years of access control or intrusion systems installation and maintenance. Level III - Some college; vocational or Associate's Degree Vocational or Associate's Degree in related field plus 5 years of experience in access control or intrusion systems installation and maintenance. Substitutions Allowed for Education: Level IIIWhen a candidate has the required experience, but lacks the required education, they may normally apply additional relevant experience toward the education requirement, at a rate of two years relevant experience per year of required education. |
