Job Overview:
Due to Company growth, we are actively seeking experienced Substation Construction Engineer to join our team in New York. The two sites this person will oversee are near Massena, NY and Croghan, NY.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Substation Engineering Field Support to Fix Problems and quickly answer RFI's to report back to the engineering team for underground structural and electrical work.
- Review of construction and engineering designs on site, overseeing engineering and field work.
- Must do Reporting - Weekly Report, Monthly Reports, site weekly minutes of meetings.
- Must attend the contractor's safety, environment, and Quality meetings; provide a tip in the onsite meeting.
- Must review contractor invoices and schedules.
- Facilitate resolving Construction Engineering problems, discrepancies, procedures, and methods by working with engineering personnel, inspectors, contractors, and suppliers
- Review the contractor material submittal and send to the PM and Engineering for approval
- Verify all data forms are filled out by the contractor as the equipment is being removed or installed.

The salary range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licenses and certifications; and other related skillsets. The disclosed range is an estimate and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
